IS MAYFAIR DESIGN DISTRICT DEFINED BY ITS GEOGRAPHY?

Although we initially set up the district to place a spotlight on London’s Mayfair and celebrate it as the leading international destination for contemporary art, design and wider culture, we are increasingly asked to collaborate on both national and international projects. This could include taking Mayfair-based businesses elsewhere or putting a spotlight on them on an international stage, or it could mean drawing on our extensive experience and partnerships to help position an artist, designer, gallery or design-led business in a whole new territory.

does the district exist year round?

Initially set up to bring life to Mayfair during the London Design Festival, it quickly became apparent that there was an appetite from both businesses and the culturally curious to bring together the community year-round. So we celebrate great art, design, experiences, food, fashion and culture in general whenever possible, often bridging the gaps between the different disciplines.
